Eve NicolEve is a theatre director and playwright from Glasgow who predominantly works with new texts and music.
She is the Artistic Director of Heroes Theatre, a contemporary writing company who have performed in fields, festivals, pools, pubs and stages across Scotland. Recent directing credits include The Drift by Hannah Lavery (National Theatre of Scotland & Tron Creative), The Outrun adapted by Stef Smith from the memoir by Amy Liptrot (Lyceum Theatre & Edinburgh International Festival) and Sea Wall by Simon Stephens (Heroes Theatre, Incoming Festival New Diorama). As Assistant Director, Eve has worked with Orla O’Loughlin, Wils Wilson & Janice Parker, David Greig and Andy Arnold. Her debut play as a writer, One Life Stand toured with UK with Middle Child Theatre in 2018. Eve co-edits a biannual DIY publication of new Scottish playwrighting and facilities social play reading and peer review writing groups. In 2019, Eve will be working on new projects with The Lyceum and Old Vic, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Tron Theatre and National Theatre of Scotland. |
